Latest Form Update, Los Angeles City Planning CP13-2074 [5.10.2024]
UPDATE 02/15/2024 - CUP radius distance has been reduced from 500 ft to 300 ft.
See table below for all new distance requirements. Coastal notification has increased from 100 ft to 300 ft. All packages follow and use forms from CP13-2074. The City of Los Angeles now allows applicants to mail out the notification as an alternative to the BTC. Express Mapping can provide mail service if needed that includes the certificate of mailing as approved by the City for an additional fee if needed. Please reach out to us for a custom mailing quote.
**NOTE**
The city of Los Angeles has three different base radius map requirements. 500 feet, 300 feet, and Abutting. If you do not know which distance you need, please use our table below as reference. You can also ask us via chat and we can look up your application type and let you know. Your planner can also tell you what distance you need. There are multiple radius distances mentioned in the application. Rest assured, we include all the various items and distances that your package requires. For example, the 300' package will also include the LOD adjacent/abutting owner list and the 600' land uses on the map when applicable to your application type. Reach out to us if you have any questions. Electronic digital copies of all files (PDF, Label, Excel, JPG) are included for all packages in addition to printed materials.
Our packages do not include payment to the BTC or the physical submittal to the BTC. You will need to take our folder labeled "BTC" to your nearest BTC office and pay the mailing fees to the BTC directly. We do provide you with the label and excel materials you will need to submit to the BTC (The map, labels, cd with excel list, counts, penalty of perjury and formatting the BTC requires).

For a CUB or CUX request to be considered, the following additional information and findings must be provided. Requests for alcohol establishments pursuant to LAMC Section 12.24 W.1 of Chapter 1 are required to include the following. Note that these requirements are separate from the Public Noticing requirements detailed in the Mailing Notification Procedures (CP13-2074), which will be requested by the Project Planner 6-8 weeks prior to the public hearing.
A 600-foot radius map showing land uses
A list of alcohol establishments between 600 and 1,000 feet of the site. Include the type of license and address.
A list of the following types uses within 600 feet:
(1) Residential uses and type (single-family, apartment, hotel, etc.);
(2) Churches;
(3) Schools, including nursery schools and child-care facilities;
(4) Hospitals;
(5) Parks, public playgrounds and recreational areas;
(6) Establishments dispensing, for consideration, alcoholic beverages for consumption on or off premises
