Full Description from the city package (City of Commerce)

Packaged will be formatted to follow the "Procedures for Compiling Public Notice Mailing List" requirements from the Application.

*Select 1000' for hazardous materials, handling of solid waste and ABC beverage sales

Radius Map:
The City of Commerce requires applicants to provide a base map showing all affected property owners within a 500-foot radius of the subject property for Conditional Use Permits and Variance applications. For projects involving hazardous materials, handling of solid waste, or alcohol sales and services, a 1,000-foot radius map is required. Each parcel within the radius must be shown and numbered to correspond with the property ownership list.

Mailing List:
Applicants must prepare a list of property owners within the required radius, including names and addresses from the most recent Los Angeles County Assessor’s roll. Two sets of adhesive mailing labels must also be submitted. Labels must include all required property owners, architects, engineers, or representatives. The property owner’s list must be verified as accurate, and improperly prepared documents may delay or deny the application.

Affidavit Requirement:
The property owner’s list must be accompanied by an affidavit certifying that the list is true and correct, based on the most current assessment roll. The affidavit confirms the accuracy of the submitted mailing labels and property ownership information.
