The California Department of Alcohol Beverage Control requires each applicant for an alcohol beverage license to mail a notice to every resident of real property within a 500 foot radius of the premises. A residence is defined as a place where people actually live, such as a single family home, condo, residential hotel or motel or mobile home.

 

Note: You only have to include resident data. There is a disclaimer under the Business and Professions (B & P) Code Section 23985.5 on the ABC 528 that states "The department shall require the applicant to provide notification to the owners of real property, as required in subdivision (a), only if the local jurisdiction in which the license is to be issued provides, free of charge, a list of the names and addresses of the owners to the applicant"

Since Express Mapping would charge you for the owner data, you are not required to include it per ABC laws and regulations. 

OPTIONAL SERVICES:

MAILING: Cost provided at completion of research job

We will offer a quote at the completion of all research job for the optional mailing service. If you would like to use the mailing service it would include mailing out the forms to all the residents and completing the 207F form on your behalf. We will request the date you have posted your sign to complete this request, as well as your 207E & F forms that are provided by the ABC to you when you have your appointment. 

ABC 247 (100' Residents Form)

Completion of Statement of Residences within 100'. We will list all residences within 100 feet of your proposed premises. The distances will be measured by a direct line from the closest edge of the residential structure to the closest edge of your structure or parking lot, which is closer. Your "parking lot" includes any area that is maintained for the benefit of your patrons or operated in conjunction with your premises. We will then email you the completed form. The applicant needs to sign it and submit to the ABC. 

ABC 251 (Consideration Points) within 600'

We will list all the names and addresses of all schools, churches, hospitals, public playground, and youth facilities located within 600 feet of your proposed premises. The points are measured for all distances by a direct line from the closest edge of the facility structure to the closest edge of your structure. We will then email you the completed form. The applicant needs to sign it and submit to the ABC.
