Full Description from the city package (City of South Gate)
Packaged will be formatted to follow the "Notification Package" requirements from the Application
Radius Map:
Applicants must submit a radius map identifying all properties within the required distance of the project site — typically 300′ for conditional use permits, 100′ for lot line adjustments, and up to 1,000′ for large-scale land use applications. The map must accurately depict parcel boundaries, street names, and numbered lots that correspond to the ownership list.
Ownership and Occupant List Requirements:
A typed list of all property owners and occupants within the required notification radius must accompany the map. The list must include each property owner’s name, mailing address, city, state, and ZIP code as shown on the most recent Los Angeles County Assessor’s Roll. Both owners and tenants must be included, with parcels listed in numerical order to match the map numbering.
Mailing Labels:
Two (2) or three (3) sets of gummed or self-adhesive mailing labels must be provided, corresponding exactly to the ownership and occupant list. Each label must clearly show the parcel number, name, and full address. Labels are used for public notice mailings related to zoning applications and hearing notifications.
Lot Line Adjustment Requirements:
For lot line adjustment applications, applicants must provide a map showing all properties within 100 feet of the project site, along with a list of property owners and two sets of mailing labels. The list must be certified by the applicant as current and accurate prior to recordation of the adjusted lot line.
Certified Property Owners List Affidavit:
Applicants are responsible for certifying that all names and addresses are current per the Los Angeles County Assessor’s data. Any incomplete or inaccurate submissions may delay processing of the application.
