Full Description from the city package (City of Santa Clarita)
Packaged will be formatted to follow the "Application Submittal Requirements Section G" requirements from the Application
Radius Map Requirements:
Applicants must provide a radius map showing all surrounding properties within either 100 feet (Type I) or 1,000 feet (Type II) of the subject property’s exterior boundaries. Maps must include parcel numbers, lot lines, tract numbers, and all abutting streets, alleys, highways, or right-of-ways. Each parcel within the notification boundary must be numbered to correspond with the ownership list.
Ownership List Requirements:
The ownership list must include names and mailing addresses of all current property owners as they appear on the latest Los Angeles County Assessor’s roll. For projects in commercial or industrial centers, the list must also include the names and addresses of all tenants or business occupants within the site. Each property must be assigned a corresponding number that matches the parcels on the Land Use / Property Ownership Map.
Mailing Labels:
Applicants must submit two (2) complete sets of mailing labels for all properties within the required radius. Labels must contain the property owner’s name, address, city, state, ZIP code, and APN. If the project is within a multi-tenant center, each business or tenant must be listed. Mailing labels must be printed clearly, no more than 3 inches wide, with 30 labels per sheet, and include the project owner, applicant, and any representative such as an architect or engineer.
Certified Property Owner’s List Affidavit:
A notarized affidavit must be completed and signed by the preparer of the notices, certifying that the property owners’ list and mailing labels are true and correct based on the latest County Assessor’s records. Ownership rolls from other sources are not accepted.
Map Numbering:
Each parcel shown on the radius map must be numbered consecutively and keyed to the ownership list and mailing labels. The numbering ensures every property within the 100′ or 1,000′ radius is properly included in the public notification area.
